You’ve Come To The Right Place

Last Friday afternoon a minivan pulled into our Church parking lot and a smiling lady stepped out. As she approached the Church, she said “I hope this is the right place, it wasn’t easy to find.” I replied, “You’ve come to the right place” because she was welcome no matter what she was looking for. GOD has a way of bringing people who need what we have to offer or have what we need. The lady knew she was in the right place as she joined the small group of joyful worshippers because The LORD said, “Make an altar…I will come to you and bless you” (Exodus 20:24).

Does that story sound familiar? After years of rebellion and wandering in sin, are you hoping you have found the right place? Is the HOLY SPIRIT drawing you to JESUS? If you’ve come to the point of repentance, you’ve come to the right place.

But you don’t know what I have done! JESUS said, “They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick” (Mat 9:12 KJV). I’m a sinner and don’t deserve to be here. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Rom 5:8 KJV). When you realize you are a sinner, you’ve come to the right place.

I’m still struggling to overcome my sins. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” (1 Cor 10:13 KJV). If you are looking for that “way of escape” you’ve come to the right place.

There must be a way for me to get to GOD! There is because “God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 KJV) and JESUS said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6 KJV). If you believe and are ready to give your heart and life to JESUS, you’ve come to the right place.

So where is this place? Right where you are and right now because “now is the day of salvation” (2 Cor 6:2 KJV) and you are not promised another breath!
