Have you heard people complain that it’s either accept God or be sent to Hell? Not sure how they got it so wrong! “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began” (Titus 1:2 KJV). “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:16-17 KJV).
What part of that sounds like you don’t have a choice? You were on your way to Hell because of your own sin and GOD all mighty loved you enough that He sacrificed His Son for you! That’s not what you would expect from someone who is all powerful. JESUS was “slain from the foundation of the world” (Rev 13:8 KJV), so this wasn’t a last-minute idea. It was the plan from the beginning.
“Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Heb 12:2 KJV). JESUS did the hard part, to save you from an eternity in Hell! Thank GOD you have a choice!
