My favorite (only) grandson stays with us because we live near the college he attends. He is taking a full load of classes and most of the time he is busy with homework. We try not to bother him so he can concentrate on his studies. I’ve noticed that he can find time to do just about anything he is interested in. He still finds time to make things with his 3D printer, attend family events, and participate in extracurricular activities at school, simply because those are things he is interested in.
That level of interest is what I would like to see from people when it comes to loving GOD. I would like to see them love GOD so much that nothing else comes close. JESUS went farther and said, “If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple” (Luke 14:26 KJV). Understand, JESUS doesn’t want you to hate anyone, but He won’t take second place! That’s why He said “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment” (Mat 22:37-38 KJV). Let that sink in before you start making plans for Sunday morning…or take your next breath!
