Giving your money to GOD does more for you than it does for GOD “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Mat 6:21 KJV). Yes, it costs money to “Go ye unto all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15 KJV), to feed the hungry and clothe the naked, and to “Train up a child in the way he should go” (Prov 22:6 KJV) and the many other things we have been told to do. If you don’t have the time (and money) to go yourself, you need to help send others. What giving does for your heart will last forever!
All those preachers want is your money! No, all GOD wants is your heart and they work for Him! Read Matthew 6:21 again! This is for you because “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again” (Luke 6:38 KJV). But I can’t afford to give, I don’t have enough! You can’t afford not to give! But we’re not supposed to expect anything in return (Luke 6:35)? “Give and it shall be given unto you” is a promise and GOD fulfills His promises! How do I know they will properly handle my gift? You are giving to GOD and He will handle the rest!
