“…They Are Precious”
“JESUS loves the little children…they are precious in His sight” is a song I learned in Sunday School as a child. This week, memories of when my grandchildren were much younger are running through my mind as one graduates from High School and another from Community College. I miss my little babies, even as I am proud of their academic achievements! This isn’t the end of their academic or life journey, and it will take more efforts, more prayers and many more blessings from GOD to make it to their goals!
I’m not worried about GOD Almighty loving them less or slacking off from doing His part because “one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day” (2 Peter 3:8 KJV). The older versions of my grandchildren are “precious in His sight” too! Don’t forget, He said “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Heb 13:5 KJV).
What does that mean for you? You are precious in His sight! In fact, GOD so loved you and “the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:16-17 KJV)!
