Back In Jail

Well, it looks like I’ll be back in jail soon. Not that I’m doing anything different, but I’ve been convicted and will soon go back to jail! No trial, no chance to defend myself, and no idea when I’ll get out. This isn’t the first time I’ve been there, and I doubt it will be the last.

What is my terrible crime? Sharing the Good News of JESUS CHRIST on Facebook. Yes, I’m going to Facebook Jail because I created a separate ministry account where I only share the Good News and ministry related posts. I don’t post personal pictures or personal posts from others because it is only used to minister to a lost and dying world. I also share with groups and pages who welcome my input, like Facebook wants us to do. So why does Facebook single me out for persecution?

I also have a personal page in which I share the Good News with my Facebook and personal friends, a few groups and a few pages that welcome my contributions. I also share family pictures and personal posts on that account and like and comment on other people’s posts like Facebook encourages us to do.

I may have a troll or a page administrator who is reporting me as a spammer, or someone who doesn’t like my Christian stance, but I try to share the Good News in love and don’t post where I’m not wanted. I’m sure this an attack from the thief who “cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” and the Good News that I share proclaims that JESUS came “that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10 KJV).

Surely with all the big problems Facebook has, they don’t have time to persecute you! That’s what makes me suspicious. They can’t stop the porn, sexual solicitation, and demeaning portrayals of women but they take the time to “jail” me for sharing with the same groups and people I have shared with for years? I’m sure their computer (possibly artificial intelligence) tracks these things, but someone input the settings that are persecuting my ministry.

That’s why I don’t rely on social media, but the GOD who “so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:16 KJV). He’s not out to get me but made a way for my salvation. He’s not punishing me for my sins but “God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Rom 5:8 KJV).

What now? I’ll praise GOD in jail like Paul and Silas did because GOD made a way for me and “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord” (Psa 118:17 KJV)! What about your ministry? I will continue sharing the Good News however I can and pray you help me overcome whatever restrictions they put on me. You see we are all commanded to go “into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” because “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned” (Mark 16:15-16 KJV) and I know you don’t want anyone to be damned because you didn’t do your part.
