If I Forget….

In recent years I’ve noticed that I’ve become more forgetful than usual. I’ve always used lists, notes, and marked calendars to help me remember, but now I’m forgetting things I shouldn’t. I’ve forgotten routine things like shaving, taking medicine, and trash pickup day. Nothing too serious so far but it caused me to increase my reminders, so I don’t forget. I try to do things in order, so I won’t leave anything out, but it still happens.

The other day I became distracted while posting my story on Facebook and I forgot to post on a few groups where I’ve recently had great responses. I don’t know how I could have overlooked them because it’s part of my morning routine and I’m thankful my stories are being read. I even have a list that I mark so I don’t forget one. Thankfully I checked my list later in the day and realized my oversight. I didn’t like the delayed posting because someone may not get the witness they need if my post gets lost in the clutter. I have a strategy and get up early so my posts will be there when people in the US first check FB and before people go to bed on the other side of the world. GOD gave me these stories to share, and I take my assignment seriously. I even pray thy WORD “that goeth forth…shall not return unto me void” (Isa 55:11 KJV).

Since sharing my Good News stories is so important to me, it makes me wonder what will happen if I forget? Will someone fill in the gap and share one story, much less my 500+ other ones. Sadly, I know what the answer would be today. My page is called “Good News to Share” and each day after I share the Good News with ten groups, on a dozen pages as comments, and tag a dozen of my friends, few people share with others what I have freely shared with them. Thankfully I am seeing more likes in a few groups, which is almost as good as a share.

I hope a member of my family or one of my friends will get the burden for souls and share my Good News stories when I am no longer here. I don’t believe GOD gave me all these stories to write and share only to have it end when I do. With the direction the world is heading, these stories become more important with each passing day because 150,000 souls pass into eternity on each of those days and most are lost. JESUS said, “wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Mat 7:13-14 KJV). Maybe you can help me point a few more of those lost souls to JESUS, or even one more?

I can’t quote that many scriptures and don’t remember where they are found. I have the same problem and must search for them on the internet! I get tongue tied when I try to witness! Me too! That’s why I write what I want to share. But I’m not a good writer! Neither am I! GOD truly gave me these stories, the ability to write them, and a way to share them, and you are welcome to Share the Good News with me! JESUS told us (not just me) to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15 KJV) and that was a command! Now let’s obey together and if I forget, please remind me.
