I’m Doing Fine

A common question for someone to ask is, “How are you doing?”  They don’t really want a detailed status report of your life.  They are being polite and expect you to reply, “I’m doing fine.”   If a close friend or family member asks, and they know you are going through a problem, they may be asking if you need help. If you ask me, I will reply, “I’m doing fine” whether anyone agrees or not.  That is a statement of faith.  You see, I trust GOD more than I do anyone else, including what I think or feel.

I can’t rely on what others say, because they may not realize how much my GOD loves me!  “GOD so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 KJV).  I am part of that “world” He loved so much.  GOD gave His son for me, so there is nothing He won’t do for my good!

Those who criticize may not have wisdom and “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom” (Prov 9:10).  I fear the Lord, so I am becoming wise, and I trust Him more than my critics.

I walk in divine health because “with his stripes we are healed” (Isa 53:5 KJV).   I claim that promise, bind sickness, and loose healing on my body and mind.

I can’t listen to those who doubt because they are doubting my GOD and “he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (Heb 11:6 KJV).  I am diligently seeking GOD, but doubters haven’t gotten there yet.

Even if everyone else abandons me, “he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Heb 13:5).  That means I will never be alone and always have His help.

What is the worst thing that can happen?  Even if I lose my life, JESUS triumphed over the grave and I don’t fear death.  “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory” (1 Cor 15:55 KJV).  The end of this temporary life will be the beginning of one that will have no end.  “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Phil 1:21KJV).  No matter what happens “I’m doing fine!”
