I’ve been trying to figure out a way to reach the Palestinian people who are firmly in the grip of the thief, who “cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” and get them to the one who “come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10 KJV). No, I didn’t fall for the Hamas genocide claim or calls for a ceasefire to give the terrorists a chance to regroup and strengthen their forces. So, what can be done?
Under the supervision of the Israeli government, our government and our allies can provide medical treatment directly to the young, the old and the very sick and wounded in a neutral or safe location, while the IDF fight the terrorists and their supporters. Nutritious food can be provided in areas that have been cleared of combatants and pose no threat by Hamas. Solar power stations and water purification can be set up in remote locations, so we don’t have to go into dangerous cities. Information can be provided to the Palestinians to counter terrorist propaganda. Agencies like Samaritan’s Purse can show the love of JESUS to these battered people and show them there is a better way. If the Palestinians respond to the love, the neutral aide areas can increase, if they don’t, they will continue to suffer the consequences of war. What kind of solution is that? It sounds like you aren’t giving them much of a choice! The Palestinian can choose to live in peace with the Israeli people or support the Hamas terrorists and be destroyed!
That’s how it works with salvation. “God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:16-17 KJV). “God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Rom 5:8 KJV), but if you reject His sacrifice, you will have to pay for your sin. Is that all there is to salvation? No!
Then you need to fill your heart with GOD’s WORD “and be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Rom 12:2 KJV). Perfect, that sounds hard! GOD grace covers a lot.
Then you will have to “Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you” (Mat 5:44 KJV). You sure I can do all that? In JESUS!
You must “forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” (Mat 6:14:15 KJV). That sounds like a lot! Is it possible? Only through JESUS!
JESUS said, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3 KJV) and “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6 KJV). So be born again through the way, the truth, the life, JESUS CHRIST!
