That image on Facebook of a missing child is more than just a picture! It’s the center of a family’s living nightmare. Their world has stopped and everything else has lost its importance until they get their precious child back! Sleepless nights, tear-filled hours, and agonizing days waiting for the phone call that tells them he/she’s safe! Their imaginations run wild with thoughts of what their loved one might be going through! Desperation increases as time passes. The longer it takes the less likely their child will be found alive. Take another look and help bring them home!
There’s another image that is more than just a picture. The picture of sinners tormented in Hell (Rev 21:8)! Those people have lost all hope and will never come home! They had their chance to accept and follow JESUS while they were living but they rejected Him! Now they must pay for their sins for ever and ever…
If a missing child has such a devastating impact on us, maybe we should try harder to lead our children to JESUS. Every one of us will meet JESUS as Judge or Loving SAVIOR and it could be today!
