Recalled!
I was notified of a recall on my wife’s car for a computer problem that could make the car suddenly stop. I called the local dealer and got an appointment to bring the car in. It was inconvenient, but I was glad they identified the issue, notified us, and fixed the problem before something bad happened. I never considered ignoring their warning, because they know much more about the car than I do.
That is something like the warning I got from the LORD. When JESUS said, “broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Mat 7:13-14 KJV), I was glad He identified my problem and told me. More than that, I was overwhelmed that “God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:16-17 KJV)! I was so thankful that GOD made a way before I even knew there was a problem! I never considered ignoring the Him, because I was sure He knew more than I did! That’s why I accepted JESUS as my LORD and SAVIOR at an early age and follow Him!
What about you? Did you hear the warning and respond to the drawing of the HOLY SPIRIT? If you don’t take the loving advice of your Heavenly Father and His Son, who came and died that you might live, you will meet JESUS as your Judge after it’s too late!
