I saw a Facebook post about a family member who was caring for her dad in the hospital. She told about his progress and what she had to do to make sure he got better. It wasn’t the first time, and she seemed to know what it took to help him. As I read the post, I felt she needed to tell him about JESUS, and I told her in a comment.
Why would I think he doesn’t know about JESUS? It doesn’t matter what state his soul is in; he can use more JESUS. If he is lost, JESUS died to save him (Rom 5:8)! If discouraged, JESUS is the reason to go on! He obviously is sick, and “with his stripes we are healed” (Isa 53:5 KJV). If he is in good spirits, gratitude and praise are always helpful and “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine” (Prov 17:22 KJV).
So, go ahead and tell him about JESUS! You never know what the HOLY SPIRIT will do with your obedience. It might be their last chance to get right with GOD or the message might touch someone who hears you tell them. It’s even possible that the LORD is preparing you to do greater things, but you need to learn to trust Him and obey. Whoever it is and wherever it is, tell them “God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 KJV).
