“in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, …despisers of those that are good,… lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof… of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth… men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith…and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived” (2 Tim 3:1-8, 12-13 KJV).
That sounds like Satan is winning! JESUS said: “broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in…and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Mat 7:13-14 KJV)! He didn’t say things are going to get better “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death” (Rev 21:8 KJV). That means Satan’s followers won’t be the winners.
The winners are the ones that find the narrow way that is JESUS. JESUS said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6 KJV). That’s because “God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 KJV)!
