What Can I Say?

I have been writing my stories since 2013 and now have more than 350, adding a new one almost every week. With hundreds of words in each story, you might think I have a lot to say? I would agree, but many times I don’t know what the next subject will be or what words I will fill the page with. I strongly believe the HOLY SPIRIT gives me these stories, so I try to “take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you” (Mat 10:19 KJV). I am often surprised by the content. They minister to me and I know I have to share this Good News of JESUS CHRIST with a lost and dying world.

So why are so few people getting the message? Yes, I get an occasional response from a person who was deeply touched by something I wrote and that encourages me to continue, but nothing like the responses I want to see. I’ve posted my stories on Facebook since I started and eventually created a dedicated page, but the results have been mixed. I have almost 5000 Likes and Follows, but the daily Likes and Comments have dwindled. Perhaps it’s because I repost six old stories for every one new one? I only share what I write and I write what GOD gives me. I even added pictures with posts on my personal page. Facebook doesn’t remove inactive Friends and Followers, so I can only hope the message is reaching more people than are reacting.

The thing that bothers me the most is the few Shares my posts get. I named my page “Good News to Share” in hopes that people would get the idea and “Share” my stories with others and use them as witnessing tools. I know Christians are shy about sharing their faith and this gives them an indirect way to share. With the many different topics I cover, hopefully they can find something they can use. I know we can’t save anyone, but hopefully we can be an instrument the LORD can use to speak to someone’s heart.

So what can I say to get you to share the Good News? Perhaps if I mention (again) that 150,000 people die each day and “wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat”…“and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Mat 7:13 – 14 KJV)? Do I have to point out that means that too many people are going to Hell? What if I repeated “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15 KJV)? Would that get you to share the Good News, like your friend’s eternal life (or death) depends on it? That is why your witness is so important!

Maybe you don’t like the “hell-fire and damnation” message? That could be why I use “God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 KJV) in so many of my stories. That is the “Good News” that we have to share with the world, but we also need to let them know Hell is real and they “must be born again” (John 3:7 KJV) or they will spend eternity in the lake of fire.

Did I say enough to convince you? If you don’t want to share my stories, I hope you can find another way to tell others the Good News, like we were commanded to do. You see GOD loves the rest of the world as much as He loves you!
