How can things get any worse? Every day another tragedy is in the news with few “good news” stories. That’s because things aren’t getting any better! It seems like the world is rushing to its own destruction! It’s true because “wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in” (Mat 7:13 KJV).
After 50 years of upholding Roe vs. Wade the Supreme Court overturned it. The court’s decision won’t end abortion in the U.S., but it is a small victory for the sanctity of life in our country. Sadly, the other side will steal, kill, and destroy to get their way. That used to be called mob rule! Politicians who should be calming people down are fanning the outrage to get reelected. “These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren” (Prov 6:16-19 KJV) but that is their game plan!
Law and order have fallen everywhere you look. Drugs flow across our borders and straight to main street, criminals have more rights than victims, and political affiliation determines whether you are prosecuted. Politicians aren’t held accountable for the consequences of their failed policies because the media has picked sides and make excuses for their failures. Don’t they know “Woe to the world because of offenses” (Mat 18:7 KJV)?
Problems aren’t limited to this country, with Russia killing civilians in Ukraine and threatening the world into inaction. China is preparing to take over the world with the technology we supplied and the money we paid them while we focus on climate change and changing genders. We no longer fear GOD and have lost His protection. Our enemies no longer fear us, and our allies can’t depend on us. We are headed for destruction!
The question remains, “What is the world coming to?” Sadly, the world isn’t coming to JESUS, but moving away because “evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived” (2 Tim 3:13 KJV). The WORD tells us “in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof” (2 Tim 3:1-5 KJV). In short, the world is coming to an end!
So, what is GOD doing about this mess? “God…gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:16-17 KJV). Before JESUS died on the cross, He said, “It is finished” (John 19:30 KJV) because it is! We don’t need more religion; we need to accept JESUS as our Savior and search the scriptures to find all the “help” we need! Hurry because “now is the day of salvation” (2 Cor 6:2 KJV)!
