Why Did GOD Take Them?

Grief is a natural human reaction when someone dies. Especially if they were nice, and you loved them. I told a man who had recently lost his wife, “Of course you miss her, she was a good woman.” I feel that way about my good friend who passed away a few years ago. I loved seeing him at Church and I know his dear wife and family, who loved and needed him so much, hated to lose him. He was one of those good people who seemed to have been taken before his time was up. I just celebrated my birthday and that reminded of my younger brother who shared the same birthday, but a year apart. He was a preacher but died at 19 years of age, not long before I got married. That means he has been in heaven for 47 years!

What about the people who are gone? If you could ask them, they wouldn’t complain if they are with JESUS. They wouldn’t want to come back because they understand “to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Phil 1:21 KJV) and they have gained! You might say, but they didn’t get to live before they died! They are living now in paradise and will never know sickness, hunger, sorrow, or pain. What part of “life” do you think is better than that? Beside all the benefits, they now understand how much GOD loves them and they were “taken away from the evil to come” (Isa 57:1 KJV).

Leave the decisions of life and death in the loving hands of JESUS CHRIST, where they should be.
