The Bridge Is Out!
If there was a bridge crossing the river, just past a blind curve, and it had collapsed, would you want someone to tell you? If they told you, would you tell your family, friends and loved ones? If you saw other people speeding down the road toward the curve and certain disaster, would you be too shy to warn them of the danger, or be embarrassed if they didn’t listen to your warning? What if some people laughed, or called you names, would you still try to convince others? All those questions seem ridiculous, considering people could be seriously injured or killed if you didn’t warn them.
If those questions seem ridiculous, why don’t you tell people about JESUS? He said, “broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Mat 7:13-14 KJV). No matter what number you consider many and few, we’re talking about eternity in Hell if they continue down the broad way! Hell is a lot worse than plunging off a collapsed bridge!
Why me? If you have accepted JESUS as your LORD and Savior, you have been commanded to “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned” (Mark 16:15-16 KJV). JESUS said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6 KJV). You know “the bridge is out” and you must tell them!
